Since September 2007, I have worked as an Educational Consultant after a number of years as a Senior Depty Headteacher in a large north London comprehensive.  I have been a facilitator for the National College of School Leadership delivering LfTM and LP programmes through the Institute of Education.

Areas of expertise:

Provision and delivery of school-based and external training. bespoke workshops and training programmes.  Coaching support, career consultations and interview support for Deputy Headteachers and Headteachers.

Over 20 years' experience of working in a number of PA/Administrative roles, including private medical and recruitment.  I also hold a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and am a qualified NLP practitioner.

Lyndsay Cameron

• Supporting strategic development of ITT programmes.
• Providing guidance to the Accredited Provider Management team on developments in and requirements of ITT to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Providing effective and efficient short, medium and long term joint management of Accredited Provider status for training
• Observing the recommendations of Ofsted, external consultants and legislative guidance and requirements for SCITT providers.
• Overall responsibility for all course recruitment procedures and course administration.


I began at George Abbot in 2007 as PA to the Deputy Head with a focus on Personnel and Staff Development. This included running the Support Staff Training programme. In 2011 I moved into George Abbot Accredited Provider, one of only two school based providers in the country leading the national move to School Based training. As part of the ITT management team I was involved in the development of a new SCITT programme and established all systems required to support it.

• School Direct – bids, allocations, recruitment, programme structure and legal requirements,
• SCITT and Schools DMS systems and reporting
• Student Finance England SIS and HE Gateway
• UCAS application system
• ITT Student Contracts and Partnership Agreements
• Shortlisting applications for Secondary ITT programmes
• All administration involved in the running of a SCITT programme.

Anna Gifford
Operational Lead of ITT / Geography

• Lead development of PGCE
• Training and liaison with ITT mentors and Lead Subject Mentors
• Co-ordinating programme of support and study sessions for trainees
• Leading and managing two subjects


I have taught for 11 years in Surrey secondary schools. I have held Head of Year and Head of House posts and am currently leading two departments - Geography and Leisure and Tourism. I have also completed work as an Educational Consultant in Geography. I am now working extensively with initial teacher training and newly qualified teachers.

Department leadership, developing programmes of study, active and engaging lessons, ITT.

• Day to day administrative support of the Initial Teaching Training course – preparing, editing and distribution of SCITT documentation, event co-ordination and the maintenance of manual and computerised records.


Over 15 years’ experience of working in the field of Human Resource management in both the public and private sector with expertise in payroll administration, data management and analysis, recruitment and employee relations. Graduate member of CIPD.

• Recruitment of ITT trainees from advertising through to appointment
• Advising applicants on entry criteria and procedural matters
• General administrative duties relating to current ITT course programme


I hold a postgraduate diploma in HR Management & CIPD.  I have over 10 years’ work experience advising on employee relations and recruiting to a variety of public and third sector employers including the NHS, a Housing Association and TU. 


Areas of expertise:
Recruitment processes, drafting of promotional literature and general administrative duties.
